Our Basketball Legacy

Our Basketball Leadership

The Flying Ducks are led by Kevin Williams Sr., who serves as the organization’s Founder, President of Basketball Operations and Head Coach.

Williams brought significant NBL-US championship experience to Gueydan as a seven-time NBL-US championship coach/executive.

During the Flying Ducks’ undefeated 2025 championship season, Williams was named the 2025 NBL-United States Coach of the Year.

As President of Basketball Operations and Head Coach, his responsibilities extend throughout the program.

That includes player evaluation, recruiting, roster construction, coaching philosophy, player development, team culture and establishing the competitive direction of the organization.

The goal is not simply to assemble talented basketball players.

The goal is to build a team.
